Any dancer understands the trials, tribulations and difficulties that come along with their speciality; the painstaking hours committed to perfecting the pointe, the ice baths and blisters—it’s a form of commitment that few people are willing to make—and one of the most beautiful disciples around.
You see, a dancer’s foot is one of the most beautiful in existence. No, not in the traditional sense; it’s not perfect, manicured or delicate. It goes much deeper than that…
…It’s a showcase of the time and effort that’s been made to the development of a specialized skill set. These feet highlight the energy, dedication, beautiful strength, and desire to create breath-taking symmetry and lines tirelessly worked to perfection.
The beautiful arches and calluses each sharing a story within; perfection and imperfection synchronized together, from the first attempts in pointe to the final performance, and every attempt in between— each offering a unique story, remaining untold to most people.
